The story of
Dorothy Priester
Praise Cathedral of Spartanburg, SC
Dorothy has participated in intercession since 1989, including group leader for over 20 years. Her initial sermon was in 1994 and ordained and commissioned as Pastor in 2012. Dorothy is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Praise Cathedral of Spartanburg, SC. She has led numerous Christian-based training sessions and bible study groups since 1992. Dorothy began facilitating weekly prophetic training open to the public in 2017, which is attended by believers from across the U.S. using a virtual platform.
The Esthers of Intercession was birthed as an outreach ministry and support for the new church in 2012, which has representation from various ministries in South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas. The Esthers host conferences, intercede twice weekly as a team, and pray daily for individuals, ministries, and government officials included on the prayer list. The Esthers currently offer spiritual deliverance sessions and recently implemented training for other intercessory groups. The team published their first book of prayers in May 2019 and will soon publish a 365-Day Devotional and a Children’s Prayer Book focused on pre-teens.
